Liberty® Multiband Land Mobile Radio
We have leveraged this Project 25 public safety experience with our unequaled software-defined radio technology
base in the Department of Defense. In early 2008, we introduced the Liberty Multiband Land
Mobile Radio (LMR) for government agencies and first responders. For the first time, Federal, State, Local, and
U.S. Department of Defense agencies can communicate across all of the public safety bands 136-174 MHz
, 380-520 MHz, 700 MHz, and 800 MHz in a single portable radio.
