Description

The compact, rugged Vehicle Adapters and Vehicle Adapter Amplifiers for the combat-proven AN/PRC-148 family of multiband inter/intra team radios expand critical communication capabilities and open up a broad range of secure and anti-jamming voice and data applications. Easily mounted in air, land, or sea vehicles, they provide power amplification for range extension while recharging the installed AN/PRC-148 radios. Dual radio configurations offer an alternative to existing SINCGARS vehicular installations, with capability beyond basic SINCGARS. Thales' unparalleled rapid radio dismount capability—cable free, fully charged, and immediately operational—enables warfighters to shift seamlessly from mounted to dismounted operation in less than 2 seconds, staying connected and secure with no loss of time and no loss in communications.
